I was hoping this travel phrasebook would be more reliable than an online translator but the first time I used it in Italy, the Italian waiter was confused and I showed him the sentence written in the app— then told me the correct way to say it. So now I don’t feel confident using the app.

This is a great, free language app. It’s divided by topic, which is convenient for those who may want to learn some topics more than others. It’s a good mix of words and phrases, which are clearly articulated in Italian audio.

Good pronunciation guides and plenty of basics, but too small a library of terms

This app is free but if you really want to lear you should buy the full version include all words you need to know. The $3.99 worth it! Let’s speak other languages ;)

I am in Italy and this app is not able to translate common everyday words. I am using google instead, which always has the answer to any translation for free. I want my $3.99 back!!

Found it. Tried it. Bought it. Gave up on it. Such a limited number of phrases. Was expecting a more complete dictionary.

Really thought this app would help but there were too many holes with missing words for basic things.

I keep trying to find things that aren't there, even in the pay version. Retired. Glass of water. Tap water. Etc. Not exotic stuff.

Easy to use, and let's you slow down the voice (optionally) so you can actually understand what it's saying. Highly recommend.

This app has no flaws. I love the flash card section and when it repeats the words, they are pronounced very clearly!

OUTSTANDING in every way!!!!

While this app has the best interface of the 3 or 4 Italian phrasebooks I tried out, the number if words in its vocabulary is extremely limited. After paying for the app, I assumed I would have a robust Italian-English dictionary , but many common word were missing, making the app mostly useless for my trip to Italy

Beautiful and simple interface-- follows modern iOS 7 conventions and is efficient and intuitive. Voice on pronunciations is high quality. Good set of phrases and well organized. A perfect travel companion.

Great app! Used the French one as well. Easy to navigate. Two speeds for listening to phrases, and highly organized categories. For $1.99 it's worth it.

Really useful app, add there just some UI sexy skin, some tests and it will be #1 app for italian language

This has really helped in regards to memorizing basic conversation skills. Great for understanding how to annunciate words. Bought all the upgrades for 1.99 and thought it was a great deal. Really improvement my relationship with my papa <3

Really like the app. Just wished the 'favorites' option occurred before I went to Italy. Using this app made things relatively easy to get around Rome.

I love this course, it's very interesting and easy to understand and speak another language, Meraviglioso!!! It's great!!

This app is very useful when learning key Italian phrases. I love the layout, with rather intuitive categories/organization. The voice that teaches you how to pronounce Italian words and phrases is clear, and even allows you to slow down the recording by holding down the play button. Particularly useful is how everything is written out as you would say them (phonetics). The search function is also pretty spot-on. My only negative comment is how there's no way to tag words and phrases that you like most, need to work on, or more importantly, the key phrases that will be most useful to you when traveling (e.g. Dove il bagno?). That said, it would be so great to have like a 'Favorites' folder or something. Otherwise, you're having to search the app in times you don't remember or just don't know.

This app is amazing!! But I take one star off cause no slang like in the Russian one :( but make some really cool slang or use everyday wording I would give 5 but I recommend this app it's spitze!
